KDP Vision

Khushpur, often remembered as the “Rome of Pakistan” for its legacy of faith, resilience, and service, has long been a beacon of hope and inspiration. From this village have emerged numerous clergy, missionaries, social leaders, and professionals who have served Pakistan and beyond with commitment and excellence. Today, Khushpur stands at a turning point — a moment to reclaim its strength and revive its role as a model of sustainable development, community empowerment, and interfaith harmony.

To honor this legacy and prepare for the future, the Khushpur Development Program (KDP) has been launched under the leadership of His Excellency Bishop Dr. Indrias Rehmat, Bishop of Faisalabad, with the guidance of professionals, clergy, and local leaders. The program envisions Khushpur as a thriving village where faith and development go hand in hand, ensuring better opportunities for its people and a stronger witness for the Church and community in Pakistan.

• To rebuild and strengthen Khushpur’s infrastructure for education, health, and social welfare.

• To empower youth and women through skills development, training, and livelihood opportunities.

• To preserve Khushpur’s spiritual and cultural heritage while promoting social harmony and inclusive growth.

• To enhance sustainable farming, water management, and Creation Care practices for long-term resilience.

• To serve as a model village that reflects unity, faith, and service to the nation.

While Khushpur carries a proud history, its present challenges require urgent attention. Economic pressures, limited livelihood opportunities, migration of youth, and inadequate facilities have slowed down its growth. Yet, with the collective support of individuals, institutions, and international partners, we can restore Khushpur’s vibrancy and make it once again a center of excellence, service, and sustainability.
